Look Around
This poem is a striking indictment of modern apathy and the spiritual cost of "the hustle." "LOOK AROUND" is a confrontational wake-up call to a society blinded by its own consumption. Its central argument is that our hyper-fixation on personal gain and status (the "white or blue collar" race) has created a form of spiritual tunnel vision. By choosing to look only straight ahead at our own goals, we intentionally ignore the suffering on our left and right, ultimately sacrificing our humanity and our connection to the Divine for the sake of material comfort.
