Harvest Home

Golden fields stretch across the English countryside as the final hours of harvest bring

another summer day to a close.

A wooden farm cart loaded with freshly cut crops moves slowly through the stubble,

carrying the work of the day beneath warm evening skies. Weathered fences

and rolling farmland convey the enduring character of rural life in an earlier age.

Drawing on the traditions of late eighteenth-century farming, this artwork reflects the

skill, labour and lasting heritage of England’s agricultural past.
