The Princess Secret
When children think of fairy tales, they often
think of sparkly dresses, magic wands, and castles. But if we look
closely, many classic fairy tales are also stories about resilience. Before
a girl becomes a princess in these stories, she often has to get through
something difficult—scrubbing floors, escaping a tower, or walking
through a dark forest. We want to gently help our children see that being
brave when things get hard is often part of what it means to earn a
happy ending.
