Pin Map Continent Study: Antarctica (Montessori)

A complete Antarctica study for the Montessori elementary classroom. Antarctica has no countries, so children pin 22 research stations and find out which country runs each one, then explore the ice, volcanoes and seas of the frozen continent and check their own work with the control pages.

Includes: cover with steps and a student checklist; My Map; research station pins; physical map pins (the South Pole, Vinson Massif, Mount Erebus, the Ross Ice Shelf, Lake Vostok and more, each with a fact to write); flags of station countries; continent facts; a research station close-up on how people meet their needs; a self-test; and control pages with all the answers.
