How to spot Brain stroke
A brain stroke (also called a stroke) is a medical emergency. It happens when blood flow to part of the brain is blocked or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts. Without oxygen and nutrients, brain cells begin to die within minutes.
Remember F.A.S.T.
The FAST method helps identify the most common signs of a stroke:
😊 F – Face: Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
💪 A – Arms: Ask them to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
🗣️ S – Speech: Is their speech slurred, difficult to understand, or unusual?
⏰ T – Time: If you notice any of these signs, call your local emergency medical services immediately.
