Scarecrow Coloring Pages invite children to explore fall creativity, family projects, and playful characters through screen-free activities. This free 15-page hand-drawn PDF includes 13 scarecrow-themed illustrations and two friendly monster scenes.

Children can color patched outfits, a scarecrow surrounded by pumpkins, a girl painting a scarecrow face, and a family putting their project together. Black children and families appear throughout, including a girl using a wheelchair at the painting table.

Simple enough for younger children to recognize hats, faces, clothing, and familiar animals while a grown-up talks with them.

What's Included

🟡 Friendly Faces & Fall Details (Pages 1–5) introduce the collection through individual scarecrows and playful scenes. A smiling scarecrow stands before a fence, a bird perches on another’s hat, and a scarecrow in overalls stands among pumpkins. A little girl with two hair puffs wears a scarecrow costume before the next picture shows a puppy beside a scarecrow in a garden. These pages offer clear subjects, clothing to decorate, and smaller details for children who want more to color.

🟠 Stuffing, Painting & Making Together (Pages 6–10) explore the creative work behind a scarecrow. A boy stuffs straw into a shirt, a girl using a wheelchair paints a face while another child holds the head steady, and a girl draws a design beside yarn and reference pictures. A cat sleeps in a scarecrow’s arms, followed by two children celebrating their finished project. Ideal for talking about design choices, sharing jobs, and imagining a character’s personality.

🔴 Family Projects & Storytelling Scenes (Pages 11–15) mix fuller scarecrow settings with two friendly monster illustrations. Page 11 shows an older woman cooking with a monster, while Page 12 returns to a family assembling a scarecrow in a shed. Page 13 features children and monsters in a classroom, including a boy using a wheelchair. The final two pages show a girl reading beneath a scarecrow and a five-panel family building sequence.

Why Teachers and Parents Love This

The scarecrow pages offer opportunities to explore patterns, expressions, storytelling, and working together. Teachers can use the clothing for a patchwork-design activity or the final page for sequencing. Parents and homeschool families can pair the pictures with a simple paper scarecrow craft.

Black children, natural hairstyles, headwraps, and children using wheelchairs appear within the collection. The pictures show children taking part as makers, artists, helpers, and readers.

For a scarecrow-only activity, select Pages 1–10, 12, 14, and 15. Pages 11 and 13 are separate friendly monster scenes.

How to Use It

Download your free PDF and print your chosen pages using your printer’s fit-to-page setting.

Use Page 1 or Page 3 to design patterned clothes, pair Pages 7 and 8 with a face-drawing activity, or arrange the panels from Page 15 to retell the family’s project.

The illustrations can inspire a build-a-scarecrow activity, but the PDF does not contain dedicated cutout body parts, paper-bag puppet templates, or color-by-number worksheets.

This is a digital PDF download. No physical product will be shipped.
