To go back to the Store Homepage showing all the documents then press on FInland Conflicts Problems Title (top left) on this page.

The multidisciplinary platform is for teachers/students in post-18 education and management training courses in the private sector. The focus is on conflicts and problems observed in Finland dealing with social, political, economic, legal and business-related subjects. They can be used to compare and contrast with other national environments or the focus can be on Finland.

This document supports the Readings and Tasks for Theme G. A suggested solution for the task(s) set is presented. The Pointers are brief suggestions on how to utilise the Readings/Tasks in the classroom. Finally, the Sources show the resources used to compile the Readings/Tasks.

The aim is to raise awareness of the content areas covered in the Platform Readings and develop relevant skills. Each Unit has a different focus and there is variety in the length of the reading, density of information, task demands and time required to complete each Unit. The Units cover:

Theme G.

Unit 1. Process

Unit 2. Structure

Unit 3. Introduction

Unit 4. Analysis I

Unit 5. Analysis II

Unit 6. Conclusion

In each Theme, the 6 Units can be followed sequentially or they can be integrated with the other Themes or they can be chosen at random to be integrated with other courses.
