As an actor, are you fed up with working your butt off to be the best you can be, but having no lasting proof of your brilliant work, not enough income to pay off your student loans, and not enough fans to book big television and film roles?

Well this book, Rethink and Grow Fans: Go From Yearning to Earning as a 24-Hour Actor, will show you how to do the following three things:

- Create a body of work to showcase your unique talents.
- Build a community of fans attracted to your work and willing to support it.
- Generate residual income to support your lifestyle between acting projects and for the rest of your life.

Having graduated from the Yale School of Drama as one of the most sought-after graduating actors of my year, I know that popularity in the theater doesn't necessarily lead to lasting financial solvency.

In fact, I’ve known of incredibly talented and well-trained actors finding themselves in situations where they considered filing for bankruptcy, borrowing money from family and friends, or moving back in with their parents just to be able to “make ends meet”.  It is, unfortunately, not too uncommon.

If you apply yourself to the concepts in this book, not only will you be able to eventually ✓get out of debt, ✓raise your profile, and ✓increase your net worth, but you’ll also be able to ✓give generously to worthy causes, ✓leave a legacy; and lastly, ✓your family and friends will be proud of you for ✓using up your God-given talents to the height of your ability.

After doing several theatrical productions in NYC of my solo show, Linda Means to Wait, it’s now available on Prime Video where it has international reach and affords me residual income.  My show can even be seen by my family members in South Africa because it’s available through Nuella.tv.  You can’t replace the feeling you get when someone you don’t know sees your show, feels compelled to write a review that like, “...absorbing the warmth that radiates from her entire being as she tells her story is a wonderful reminder of our common humanity...I loved it!  Bravo, Linda!!”, that you know that your hard work was appreciated by someone.

Just think, one year from now you could have your own solo show internationally available on Prime Video (and/or other outlets), making residuals, and managing a community of fans ready to support whatever projects you’re working on. Join Self-made Production Academy (now called, The Home-based Actor) if you’d like to be part of a community of support for creative professionals making their own work. By continually making work available online you will incrementally produce a rich body of work to look back on as you age and be reminded of the ways your creativity was stimulated by your various life experiences; and by doing that the world will be able to share in your work as well.

If you stop reading this book and say, “I’d like to but, I can’t create my own work,” you’ll only be cheating yourself!  I wrote a book called, the Charm of Confrontation, when I didn’t even know how to write a book and now it’s on Audible, earning monthly residuals!  Was it my best work?  No way!  But creating it proved to me that I could do it, even though I hadn’t ever done it before!

Don’t let your unreasonable demand for self-perfection keep you from creating.  All that will do is stop you because nothing is ever perfect!  “Done” is better than “perfect”. You can always go back, rewrite and create something better next time. The learning is in the doing!  Do yourself a favor and learn from this quote, “The best time to start was yesterday.  The next best time is now”!

Go ‘head, keep listening so you can take on the idea of being a 24-Hour Actor and start making that work the world is waiting for!
