Gorge Cowl

Gorge Cowl is just packed with small details and interesting techniques:

• tubular CO and BO (they're not scary or difficult, I promise! - or you can always use your favorite methods instead)
• cables and ribbing for maximum texture
• i-cord edges
• knitting in the round and flat

Gorge Cowl is 100% unisex. It's big enough to sit comfortably on your shoulders. It drapes perfectly and will keep your neck warm on the coldest winter and first spring days.

One size; 39” / 99 cm finished circumference; 20” / 51 cm height

Yarn
Hudson + West Co. Forge (70% U.S. Merino / 30% U.S. Corriedale; 235 yds / 215 m; 3.5 oz / 100 g): shown in juniper (green), 4 skeins.

Needles
Size A (for cowl): Size US 8 / 5 mm: 24” / 60 cm or 32” / 80 cm circular needle.
Size B (for tubular CO and BO only): Size US 6 (4 mm).
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions
Cable needle (optional); locking stitch marker; tapestry needle.

Gauge
20 sts and 26 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st on Size A needles.
