A working, formula-driven food cost calculator for restaurants, food trucks, caterers, bakers and home food businesses. Enter what you pay for each ingredient once, build prep recipes and menu items from it in any unit, and the workbook costs every plate, suggests a menu price at your target food cost %, and flags the items eating your margin. When a supplier raises a price, change one cell and every recipe re-costs itself.

- Menu Pricing: plate cost, suggested price, your real price, actual food cost %, gross profit per plate, over/on/under-target status and a chart. Add weekly sales to get your overall food cost %.

AUTOMATIC UNIT CONVERSION

Buy flour by the 50 lb bag and use it by the ounce. Buy oil by the gallon and use it by the tablespoon. Buy eggs by the dozen and use them by the each. Weight, volume and count units convert for you.
