Suzanne Socks (digital download)
Suzanne Socks
The Suzanne Socks are a little mystical—stars align and paths converge in these intricate motifs. Worked from the top down, the Suzanne Socks have a stranded colorwork star-and-diamond motif on the leg, with a diamond variation around the toe.
Choose from ankle and calf length; the calf-length version adds double bands of stripes on the leg for a vintage look. The Suzanne Socks have a heel flap and gusset construction, a textured heel flap, and a contrast heel turn for a punch of color.
Wherever these socks take you, I hope the stars align for you.

Yarn estimates are based on a sock foot length of 8½ (9½, 10½, 11½)” / 22 (24, 27, 29) cm. You may need more or less yarn depending on foot length. For the best fit, knit socks ½” / 1 cm shorter than actual foot length.
Samples are shown in Size 1 ankle-length (green and pink) using Green Letter Day Sock (473 yds [430m] / 100g; 75% SW Merino / 25% nylon) in Fairy Ring (yarn A) and All the Way Mae (yarn B) and Size 2 calf-length (blue and orange) using Green Letter Day Sock in Treasure Island (yarn A) and Little Lionhead Knits Fingering Weight (87 yds [80m] / 20g; 85% SW Merino / 15% nylon) in Let’s Picnic (yarn B).
