First published in Knit Now Issue 91, this simple cardigan is easier to knit than you might think. The body is worked flat in one piece. The sleeves are worked separately. All pieces are blocked and then seamed to the body, after which the button band is added. The honeycomb slip stitch pattern is worked from a chart or written instructions, whichever you prefer.
Yarn: Rowan Summerlite 4-ply (100% cotton, 175m/50g), MC: Duck Egg 419, 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) balls, CC1: Aqua 433, 1 ball, CC2: Pinched Pink 426, 1 ball, CC3: Touch of Gold 439, 1 ball
Needles: 3mm (US 2.5) circular, 80cm AND 2.5mm (US 1.5) circular, 120cm
Notions: 6 stitch markers, 6 (6, 6, 7, 8) buttons, 15mm, 2 stitch holders or waste yarn, Tapestry needle
