After the Storm Inside Me

After the Storm Inside Me Where the Silence Found Me Collection

A fierce red and orange sky burns above a still lake. Beneath the dark branches of an old tree, a solitary figure sits facing the light, while a fracture of stars opens across the sky.

After the Storm Inside Me explores the stillness that can follow emotional turmoil. The intensity remains visible in the colours and reaching branches, but the figure has found a moment to pause. Golden light stretches across the water, offering warmth within a landscape that still carries its scars.

Shaped by the lived experience behind Arlo Phoenix Studios, this piece reflects endurance, reflection and the gradual work of finding your footing again. It leaves space for whatever storm you recognise in it, and whatever that first moment of quiet means to you.

Part of Where the Silence Found Me, a collection exploring solitude and the search for peace in your own company.
