What the review covers
A voluntary external review for providers of Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation for young people aged 16–17. The scope is agreed with you and informed by risk, evidence and the needs of your service.
The seven assurance domains are leadership and governance; safeguarding and protection; accommodation and safety; support planning and practice; young people’s voice, rights and relationships; progress, independence and outcomes; and transition and move-on.
The engagement includes onboarding and independence screening, a proportionate evidence request, risk-led sampling, agreed review activity, structured feedback, a written assurance report and a prioritised improvement action plan.
This is not an Ofsted inspection or inspection grade, a statutory Regulation 44 visit, or a replacement for the registered person’s Regulation 32 quality-of-support review. Existing safeguarding and regulatory responsibilities remain with the provider.
Fees and booking
Single location: £795 total.
Up to three locations: £1,250.
More than three locations: bespoke quotation.
Follow-up review: from £295.
For a single-location review, the £198.75 initial payment comprises a £45 Initial Engagement Assessment Fee and £153.75 Booking Deposit. The remaining balance is £596.25, normally due five working days before the confirmed review date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Enquire first so we can confirm suitability, scope, independence and availability. A review date is agreed separately and is not automatically reserved by checkout. Additional travel or other agreed costs are quoted in advance.
Your Service Agreement and Refund, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy will be supplied before you proceed with payment.
Enquire about a review
Tell us your service name, Ofsted registration status, number of locations and young people supported, preferred timing, main review priorities and any potential independence or conflict concerns. Please provide a business contact number if you would like a call.
We will assess suitability and confirm the scope, fees, availability and service terms before inviting you to pay. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking.
Do not include young people’s names, identifying information or confidential case records. Evidence will be requested separately through an agreed secure route.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an Ofsted inspection? No. This is a voluntary independent assurance review. It does not award an Ofsted grade or guarantee an inspection outcome.
Does it replace Regulation 32? No. The registered person remains responsible for the quality-of-support review and regulatory duties. Our findings may inform that work.
What will I receive? A written assurance report with evidence-based findings, strengths, risks and a prioritised improvement action plan, following the agreed scope.
When is the review date confirmed? After suitability, independence, scope and availability have been agreed. An enquiry or initial payment does not automatically fix a date.
What if CCSG cannot accept the engagement? The Booking Deposit is refunded. The Initial Engagement Assessment Fee is subject to the service terms and work already undertaken.
Can I cancel or reschedule? The Refund, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy explains the notice periods and charges. Read it with your Service Agreement before payment; statutory rights remain unaffected.
How do I share evidence? We agree a secure transfer route separately. Do not put confidential records or identifying information about young people into Payhip.
Can you review a service you manage? An independent review requires appropriate separation and conflict screening. The Operational Manager edition supports internal use and is distinct from this external consultancy service.
