Setup guides hand you a screenshot of somebody's chart and call it a system. Nothing on it is explained, half of it does not affect any decision, and the two settings that genuinely change what you would have measured are not mentioned at all.

This guide sets a chart up for one purpose: so that you can see the exact trades this wave counted. Every element on it earns its place by changing a decision, the two settings that move the answer are named and explained, and everything that does not matter is left off deliberately. This is a 44-page PDF that teaches TradingView Setup from the first thing you see on the screen through to a written strategy with an entry, a stop and an explicit rule for when the trade is wrong.

Nothing is taught underneath a chart. Every label sits on the candle, the line or the level it is describing, on real BTC, ETH, SOL and LINK charts. There are three quizzes on real charts, each followed by the same chart re-shown annotated with the reasoning, plus faded practice pages where the first steps are filled in and you finish the rest.

WHAT'S INSIDE

The exact entry rule, on a chart -- A close beyond the highest or lowest close of the previous twenty bars. Close-through, never a wick through, and the difference between those two is a page of its own.

The two settings that change the answer -- Bar size and whether you read closes or wicks. Everything else on a typical setup screenshot is decoration; these two produce genuinely different trades from identical price data.

What to put on the chart and what to leave off -- Eight elements, each one justified by a decision it changes. If an element cannot be tied to a decision it is not on the list.

And what no chart can tell you -- The boundary, stated plainly. At forty trades the half-width on a rate is 14.7 points, which is wider than anything a chart could show you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DO

Set a chart up so it shows the trades this wave actually counted.

Say which two settings change the answer, and why they do.

Justify every element on your chart by a decision it changes.

Read a close-through and a wick-through as different events.

Say what a chart cannot settle, without having to be told again.

AN HONEST NOTE

TradingView Setup is a clue, not a crystal ball. It describes what price has already done. This guide contains no win-rates, no backtest results and no promises about what you will make, because nobody can verify those and you should not trust anyone who prints them. What it hands you instead is a set of rules you can test yourself on TradingView in an afternoon. Educational, not financial advice.
