PVQ-082 Chained Beams digital quilt pattern

Create the illusion of curves while only sewing straight seams. When two different angles are combined, the circles appear. Focus on the background, and you will see circles. Focus on the Corner Beams blocks and other circles appear.

I use Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 Design Corner Beam ruler to easily create the blocks, but there are templates if you don’t have the ruler. Or check at your quilt store for other rulers that may work.

The quilt on the fence is one that I made with Flutter Fields by Island Batik. The other quilts were made by testers Dotty, Ruth, and Sherry.

Approximate size: 55" x 71"

Skill level: intermediate– specialty rulers or templates; if any fabrics are directional, you’ll need to take care when sewing to keep them facing in the correct direction.
