The word Esse means just that : that something exists and has a physical form or is not imaginary or fictional. I decided to call this design Esse to acknowledge and admire the fact that something merely in our imagination can be given form and existence through this fabulous craft of knitting.

Esse is worked sideways from tip to tip. It starts with very few cast-on stitches at one tip and is slowly increased until full width at the mid point and then decreased all the way to the other tip.
Adaptable. Esse is designed to use one lace weight skein. But, any yarn weight can be used and the size can be easily adjusted by knitting more or less pattern repeats. Instructions are included in pattern for such adjustments.
Length along the Top Edge: 75.75”/ 192 cm

Esse is suitable for knitting in any yarn weight. Please Check SIZING section above.
