Murder is the most-asked, most-misunderstood topic in OCR A-Level Law. Students lose marks because the resources they study from misquote Coke's definition, conflate the two Cunningham cases (the 1957 recklessness test vs the 1982 murder mens rea case), treat Woollin as a test of intent rather than evidence of it, or quote the wrong Sentencing Act (Schedule 21 was rewritten in 2020 — most textbooks still cite the 2003 version).
