Warmth

Warmth is the hidden element in the child’s healthy development. Through the mantle we create around the child, the warmth of love – physical, emotional and practical - and what we mean by Waldorf warmth…some interesting woolly articles really add to the theme.

It includes working with wool in many forms - felting, crafting, dyeing, children’s clothes, making felt hats and of course, looking at Lambs and Sheep - in stories, poems, songs, plays, puppets.

As well as warmth, we also look again at overcoming fear, being aware of ‘invisible people’ in a child’s life and conference notes and write ups, including ‘what is the spirit of our time.’
