Working Sucks, A Backpacker's tales - Gonzalo Velazquez

This book isn’t going to teach you anything you don’t already know, it’s not going to change your life, it’s not useful for anything, and you shouldn’t even waste your time reading it. This book serves no other purpose than to loudly and boldly voice something we all think but don’t say often enough: WE HATE WORKING.

I’ve been traveling for a few years now, and along the way, I’ve had to work in all sorts of jobs, from being a Spanish teacher to a construction worker. In each of the more than 30 jobs I’ve had in my short life, I’ve learned and confirmed the idea that working is a scam. We waste the best years of our lives doing activities we don’t enjoy. Throughout this process, I’ve realized that I no longer want to live to work.

Here, I share my story, the things I’ve learned while traveling, and perhaps you’ll end up joining my club - the club of people who dare to say that working sucks.
