The Lion of Judah Made Simple
On his deathbed in Egypt, the patriarch Jacob spoke over his son Judah words that would echo for seventeen centuries: the sceptre would not depart from Judah until Shiloh came. In heaven's throne room, the apostle John wept because no one was worthy to open the scroll, until an elder said, "Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed."
The Lion of Judah Made Simple is a Bible-first walk from Genesis 49 to Revelation 22: the promised King, the wilderness victory, the Lamb who is the Lion, the warrior who fights for His people, the boldness He gives His own, the reign that is and the reign that is to come, the Bridegroom and His bride, and the glorious return of the King.
Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who promised the King; Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — the Lion who prevailed; and the Holy Spirit, by whose power alone comes deliverance, boldness, and freedom. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.
Read one chapter a day. Come honest. Read slowly. Behold the Lion.
