WOODLAND STOCKINGS: BIG ANIMALS

Adorned with whimsical forest animals and frosty winter scenes, these heirloom-quality stockings are bound to provide beautiful holiday cheer for years to come. This pattern includes four different designs—bear, owl, fox, and moose—so you can knit them all!

The Woodland Stockings: Big Animals are knit from the top down, starting with a chevron-textured cuff. This design uses two colors of worsted-weight yarn and stranded colorwork knitting to create the forest creatures and scenes. Inverse versions of all the colorwork charts are included. Each colorwork design is charted for both sides of the stocking. The stocking charts contain mirror images so the animals look great viewed from either side. The mock short-row heel and i-cord loop for hanging will make the Woodland Stockings: Big Animals a polished addition to any mantel.

This standalone pattern is the companion to the original Woodland Stockings pattern, which features four different animal designs as well as variations in the cuff and snowflake design. The Woodland Stockings and Woodland Stockings: Big Animals blend harmoniously, so that you can knit each pattern independently or mix charts and cuffs to create the perfect stockings for you and your loved ones.
