Lucid Pullover

Sometimes the simple things are the best things. Lucid has the features that I love - a great fitting shoulder, vertical lines for lengthening, a touch of ribbing for easy flattering shaping, and top-down construction so the sleeve and body lengths are always perfect. Add to this a fantastic yarn, and the result is unbeatable!

Lucid is knit from the top down and seamlessly using the contiguous shoulder and set-in sleeve method developed by Susie Myers. It is knit flat until the front neck is joined, then worked in the round down to the hem. The sleeve stitches are put on hold while the body is worked, then taken off of hold and worked down to the cuff. There are options for either short or long sleeves.

Recommended Ease at Upper Chest 

2 - 6” (5 - 15 cm) 

The garment is shown in Size 3 with 4” (10 cm) ease at the upper chest. 

For an improved fit across the bust and/ or the belly, the front of the body for Sizes 6 - 10 is larger than the back.

Gauge

On US Size 5 (3.75 mm) needles, in the round after blocking:

24 sts/ 34 rows in 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette 

Yarn

Brooklyn Tweed Imbue Sport (discontinued), 100% merino wool, sport weight, 190 yards (174 meters) per 50g skein, OR

Any sport weight yarn with similar properties that knits up to gauge.
