Lust Made Simple
Lust is the one sin the Bible tells you not to fight — it tells you to flee. Lust Made Simple is a Bible-first, chaste, hope-filled guide to exposing lust, fleeing it God's way, and walking free. No condemnation, no graphic detail, no pop psychology — just Scripture, the power of the Holy Spirit, and one action step per chapter. Everything is Trinitarian: we pray to the Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, by the Holy Spirit.
CHAPTER WALKTHROUGH
1. The Heart of the Matter (Matthew 5:27-28) — Jesus locates lust in the heart, not the eyes; God does heart surgery.
2. A Covenant With Your Eyes (Job 31:1) — decide your boundaries in advance, in the clear light of God's Word.
3. Honey on the Lips, Poison in the Cup (Proverbs 5) — lust advertises honey and invoices poison; keep your path far from her door.
4. The Young Man at Dusk (Proverbs 7) — the anatomy of a fall, step by step; every step toward can be interrupted.
5. When a King Fell (2 Samuel 11) — David's descent: saw, inquired, sent, lay, covered, killed; sin always escalates.
6. The Road Back (2 Samuel 12; Psalm 51) — genuine repentance, total forgiveness, and the map of Psalm 51.
7. Flee, Don't Flirt (2 Timothy 2:22; 1 Corinthians 6:18) — God's one-word battle plan, with Joseph as the model; write your flee plan.
8. Your Body Is a Temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) — the Holy Spirit lives in you; you were bought at a price; honor God with your body.
9. Walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16) — victory over lust is the result of walking with the Spirit, not the method; starve the flesh, feed the Spirit.
10. Renew Your Mind (Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:8) — capture every thought (2 Corinthians 10:5) and replace it with what is pure.
11. Dressed for Battle (Ephesians 6:10-18) — the full armor of God against lust's flaming arrows; pray in the Spirit.
12. Don't Fight Alone (James 5:16) — confession to a trusted believer, accountability, and the cord of three strands.
13. Purity Is Possible (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5; Titus 2:11-12) — God's will is your sanctification; grace teaches you to say no.
14. Such Were Some of You (1 Corinthians 6:11) — washed, sanctified, justified; hope for the fallen with zero condemnation.
