These Mindfulness Cards for Everyday Life have been designed to help YOU maintain and improve your mental health by giving you a valuable tool for training and improving this essential mental skill.


The cards are also an excellent tool for ALL coaches and positive psychology practitioners to use with their clients so that they can easily incorporate mindfulness into their daily lives.


The cards themselves are in PDF format which is ideal for using on your smartphone or other electronic device so that you can remind yourself of each activity and its instructions.


The are a total of 10 practical activities. Five mindfulness meditative activities and five mindful communication activities.


The meditative activities are designed to be used when you are on your own, or in your own space, and not communicating with anyone else. While the mindful communication activities are all about applying mindfulness to your conversations with others be it with friends, colleagues, or your clients if you are a coach or positive psychology practitioner.


It should be noted that while the activities were originally designed to be used in the snowsports environment they were used by the author's research participants in all walks of life which is why they have been adapted for use in 'everyday life'. And because they include both meditative and communication activities it helps the user understand the power and versatility of mindfulness.


Each activity card includes a title, instructions, and tips so that the activity is easily understood and successful. The first side, or cover, has an inspiring and relevant photo as well as the activity title which helps to bring the activity alive!


Spending time working on your mental skills is vital for maintaining good mental health and contributing to overall wellbeing. These cards (and others available from Derek Tate Coaching) make this kind of training more easily understood and useable by integrating the activities into your daily life.
