Darwinia
Darwinia celebrates all that is Spring. Another petal in the Wildflower collection, it is yet another garment perfect for transitioning seasons. Darwinia can be knit in two styles; the babydoll complete with ribbon tie, or the a-line shaped dress. Both feature the same gathered bodice. Both are perfect for layering over t-shirts or under cardies, or just by itself. Both options are suitable for cotton or wool.
Construction:
This is a seamless garment constructed from the top down. The shoulder straps and bodice top is worked initially before
casting off the shoulder straps. From there the front and back of the bodice are worked separately before rejoining to knit the body of the dress. This patterns details two petals or two versions. Both petals begin with the same instructions.
