Created by Amber King, a writer and mom of five, this printable gratitude journal is designed for boys approximately ages 6-10. It uses clear, easy-to-read fonts, short questions and a mix of music, aliens, graffiti-style art and funny food illustrations.

There is no pressure to write a lot, draw perfectly or pretend every day was amazing. A word, a quick sketch or help from a grown-up is welcome. A hard day can still have a good bit.

WHAT IS INSIDE?

Each daily entry has a morning section and an end-of-day section. Boys can write something they look forward to, something good that happened, something that made them laugh and something they are thankful for. An extra question changes throughout the journal, with prompts about games, learning, making things, kindness, favorite snacks and trying something new.

Each daily page also includes a date line, weather symbols to circle, a space for the song of the day and a simple water check-in.

The additional pages include:

- Four weekly reflections to look back at favorite moments and small achievements.

- Four coloring pages with music, aliens, graffiti-style art and food themes.

- Four themed drawing activities, including designing a music poster, inventing an alien, drawing a name in graffiti letters and creating a funny snack.

- A final page to save a memory and leave a note for his future self.

The 61-page interior includes 30 daily entries plus the extra reflection, drawing, coloring and activity pages. Both print sizes have the same content, so you only need to print the size you prefer.

HOW TO USE IT

Print the whole journal or choose the pages you want. The interior can be printed in black and white, and the cover can be printed in color. Keep the pages in a folder, binder or your preferred binding.

Boys can complete it independently or with help from a grown-up. Start any day, skip a question when needed and use words or pictures. This journal is a place for his own memories and ideas, rather than another assignment to finish.
