The Eagle's Tales: When Soldiers Led The Eagle

After independence, Nigeria entered a long period in which soldiers led the government. The country experienced major changes, a civil war, rebuilding, new institutions, political transitions and renewed calls for civilian government.

In this second Eagle's Tale, the Eagle travels through the years 1966 to 1999, meeting the people and leaders who shaped one of the most important chapters in Nigeria's history.

Through change and uncertainty, the Eagle keeps watching, learning and looking toward what comes next.
