On the windswept cliffs of 18th-century Scotland, a knight whose clan despises magic meets a woman whose life is guided by the power of wishes. Their burgeoning connection is shattered when an earthquake casts her into the sea, seemingly to her doom. Consumed by grief, the knight declares a vengeful war on the Fey, blaming them for her death. But the woman was not killed—she was rescued by the Sea-Fey and brought into their wondrous underwater world. When she learns the man she knew is destroying her saviors, she must return to the surface, armed with a simple blade, to stop his crusade and confront a love twisted into tragedy.
