OCEAN REFILLING - THE Original file
Introducing my new digital artwork - OCEAN REFILLING - When the sun heats up as strongly as it did this summer, danger is on the way. Heat records were set in a number of places in southern Europe's Mediterranean Sea. The Spanish Diploma Engineering Company ®UniSun does not see the future as bright. If there are warmer months in the future, the company will set up water supply systems that you can see tested in this work of art. The sea can become so porous that it can "break", and you can almost walk on the water's crust, says a spokesperson from the company. Funds from the European Union are secured for further testing next summer.

"Ocean Refilling" - A Cautionary Tale of Climate Change
Morten Klementsen's digital artwork "Ocean Refilling" offers a startling glimpse into a future where the delicate balance of our planet's ecosystems has been disrupted. Inspired by the worrying trend of rising temperatures and their impact on our oceans, this work serves as a powerful visual metaphor for the fragility of our environment.
The piece depicts a surreal and unsettling scene, where the once-vast expanse of the ocean appears to be "refilling" from within. The cracks in the water's surface suggest a porous, unstable foundation, hinting at the underlying instability of our marine habitats. The vivid colors and distorted perspectives create a sense of unease, challenging the viewer to confront the potential consequences of our actions.
Through this work, Klementsen invites us to consider the pressing issues of climate change, environmental degradation, and the urgent need for sustainable solutions. The artwork serves as a reminder that the future is not set in stone, and that our actions today will shape the world our children and grandchildren inherit.
Klementsen's "Ocean Refilling" is a thought-provoking and visually striking piece that demands our attention and calls us to action. By addressing the complex challenges facing our planet, this artwork encourages us to reflect on our role in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future.
