In the quietness of the night, I can hear your voice

I have recently read that if nyctophobia is the fear of dark, optophobia is the fear of opening your eyes. It is scary to imagine that the speed of light is in fact the same as the speed of darkness.
I cannot sleep tonight, but I am not afraid. I feel your presence around me.
