The magnificence of the Oregon coast and the small port town of Harbor inspired me to create a collection of accessories worked in a simple knit and purl herringbone texture. A clever garter-stitch closure takes full advantage of the natural bias formed by the easy two-row pattern stitch. The tonal colors of Cascade Yarns' Pacific Color Wave energizes the look of this easy-to-wear piece.

Finished Measurements:  10" width; 21" circumference
Gauge:  17 sts and 22 rows = 4"/10cm in pattern stitch. Gauge is not critical in this pattern, but a different gauge will affect yardage and size of finished piece. It may be necessary to unravel gauge swatch and re-use the yarn. Take time to check gauge.
