The Malinois is a cardigan for any occasion, and pairs beautifully with dresses, skirts, jeans, camisoles, and tees.
Construction: It is worked top down seamlessly, with short row shoulder shaping, optional bust shaping, and a picked up and knit buttonband.

Sizing:
Graded to fit a full bust of 30”-62” / 75 cm to 155 cm. #SizeInclusive
Intended to be worn with 5” / 12.5 cm of positive ease at the full bust, and 4” / 10 cm of positive ease at the bicep.
Ideally the cross shoulder measurement of the garment is the same as your actual cross shoulder measurement, or slightly wider than your cross front measurement.

The pattern includes a link to a modification spreadsheet that allows you to mix and match cross shoulder, full bust, and bicep measurements.
Gauge:
31 stitches and 42 rows in 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on (Larger) needles, after blocking.
Needles & Notions:
(Larger) US 2 / 2.75 mm circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge after blocking.
(Smaller) US 1 / 2.25 mm circular needles, or 1 size smaller than (Larger) needles.
A few stitch markers (including some removable ones), darning needle, scissors, tape measure, cable needle, waste yarn or stitch holders.
3 (.75” / 2 cm) buttons, or desired size and quantity of buttons.The pattern includes instructions for buttonholes using any size and quantity of buttons.
Yarn:
Knitting for Olive Merino 6, 6, 7, (7, 8, 8) {9, 10, 10} skeins (273 yards / 250 meters per 50 g), 100% Merino.
OR 1456, 1577, 1715, (1862, 2005, 2178) {2336, 2517, 2700} yards / 1333, 1444, 1571, (1705, 1836, 1994) {2139, 2305, 2472} meters of comparable light fingering weight yarn.
