The finished size of this design depends not only on the graph size but also on the stitch of choice, hook size, yarn thickness, and other factors.

For this pattern, my tester, Carol Reid, used a 3.5 mm hook (US = E/4, UK =9) and the measurements with the recommended yarn were 180 cm (70,87”) in width and 239 cm (94”) in height without border. It fits an 180 cm wide King Size bed or a 150 cm double bed if tucked in at the sides.

The amount of yarn used for this pattern by my tester without the border was: 17 Skeins, 4731 meters / 5174 yards (colour Pistachio of yarn brand Stylekraft Special DK) and 15 Skeins, 3909 meters / 4275 yards (colour Sage of yarn brand Woolkraft New Fashion DK)
