Demons & Dungeoneers! Gameplay Rules (Survival Guide)
No, it is difficult being a dungeoneer. Just imagine all the pressure you have. The guild gives you a contract, and they expect you to complete the quest. It doesn’t matter what the cost is—you must complete it! Such quests could include slaying a dragon 50 times larger than you or trying to stop a wraith lord that has existed for thousands of eras! That is a lot of pressure, wouldn’t you say, especially for a dungeoneer who just joined the guild?
That is why each dungeoneer, upon being accepted, will receive a magical quill. Yes, an enchanted quill that will go crazy as soon as it sees a scroll or anything that it can write on. Don’t stop that quill! It will poke you very hard! Now, you might wonder, how does it have an endless supply of ink if there is no ink jar to get it from? After all, it is a magical quill, so perhaps it just produces it like a Dwanen Mountain blue yak that feeds her babies. Yes, it is that important, so the ink is not an issue here because we are glad it can magically conjure up such substance to relay the valuable information you need to survive the perils of these lands.
Anyway, we are getting way off track here! What is important is that this magical quill will give tips and ideas on how to survive one of the guild’s many quests. It is free upon joining the guild—no cost! Yes, not a single gold coin.
Until then, please stay in the guild where it is safe, my fellow dungeoneer, until you have read the survival guide!
Until next time, your guild master, Billibon Strudeln, is a well-run business halfling owner and proprietor.
