It is recommended that this score be printed in A3, or larger if possible, and in colour. The organist requires 12 small weights. Throughout this piece, should certain manuals, pipe lengths, or stops not be available on the chosen organ, the organist is allowed to find an alternative suitable stop and pipe combination. The focus of this piece is the stops and timbres of the organ above specific pitches and ranges. As such, the organist can interpret the score in various ways so that the piece can be performed on a variety of different organs and so that a variety of different organs can be explored in terms of their timbre.
