Recommended Software: Microsoft Excel 2021, Excel 2024, or Microsoft 365 Excel Desktop for Windows.

File Format: .xlsm (Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook)

Important Requirements:

• Genuine, activated Microsoft Excel Desktop.
• VBA Macro support.
• Macros must be enabled or trusted for the workbook.
• A compatible Excel version with support for the workbook's formulas.
• Internet access may be required for email, WhatsApp, or other online features, where configured.

Not Recommended / Not Supported:

• Excel Online / Excel for the Web — VBA macros cannot run.
• Microsoft Excel Mobile (Android/iOS) — VBA macros cannot run.
• Google Sheets — Excel VBA automation is not supported.
• LibreOffice / WPS Office — full VBA compatibility is not guaranteed.
• macOS — full compatibility has not been verified.

⚙️ How to Set Up on a New Computer

Step 1: Download the File

After purchase, download the School Management System Pro v1.1 Excel workbook.

Step 2: Extract the File (If ZIP)

If the downloaded product is a ZIP file, extract it before opening the workbook.

Step 3: Open Microsoft Excel

Make sure a compatible desktop version of Microsoft Excel is installed and activated.

Step 4: Unblock the File (If Applicable)

On Windows, right-click the downloaded Excel file, select Properties, and check Unblock if that option is available. Click Apply and OK.

Only do this after confirming that the file comes from a trusted source.

Step 5: Enable Macros

Open the Excel file. If Excel displays a security warning and you trust the file, select Enable Content when available.

If macros are blocked, review Microsoft's macro security guidance. Do not disable macro protection globally.

Step 6: Configure School Information

Review the existing School Name, Academic Session, and other settings before entering student records.

Step 7: Start Using the System

Add students, enter examination marks, record fee payments, and generate school documents.

Step 8: Save and Back Up

Save the workbook in .xlsm format to preserve its VBA macros. Maintain regular backup copies to protect school records.
