Reading this short story by Basil Romanco transported me into a trance. As someone who doesn’t read regularly as I find it difficult to relax into, I was completely captured. My imagination ran freely, freezing the worries in my mind. This story was a journey, a lesson that will sit with me for the rest of my life. The tenderness and strength prevailed in this book really tugs at your heart strings. I know this is a piece of writing I will come back to in the future as I think it deserves to be read over again and again. Simultaneously, I was not only reflecting on the life of Basil, his father and Noah, but also myself. This was a whirlwind of beautiful emotion.
