Manufacture And Overhaul: BURN OUT
Quick recap
This was a healing class focused on addressing burnout, led by KatNBoots138 and Kaptin. The participants discussed various signs of burnout including blaming others, avoiding people, getting sick, feeling tired all the time, and losing enthusiasm for activities they once loved. The group explored how certain creative projects and social media content became "stale" or turned into "jobs" rather than enjoyable activities, with participants sharing personal examples of burnout in areas like TikTok posting, art, writing, and hair styling. Through guided healing work, the group identified that burnout often occurs when shared creative endeavors lose their collaborative energy or when external feedback doesn't match the creator's intentions, leading to a metaphorical "sucking out" of creative life force. The healing process involved addressing why participants initially structured their creative work to have built-in limitations, revealing it was often due to not wanting to miss out on other life experiences while they were deeply engaged in their creative pursuits. The class concluded with various healing activations to address burnout, including cleaning up energetic patterns, removing unnecessary structures, and updating the parameters around creative work to allow for both passionate engagement and healthy boundaries.
