Triggerman

Colin is a veteran starfighter pilot whose morals clash with his superiors' peacetime politics. When he makes a heroic but poor decision, his career hinges on reassignment to an experimental armor unit not as a pilot, but a Triggerman, a weapon systems operator, with said armor not piloted but worn by giant canines literally bred for combat.

On a strange world of giants, he finds himself partnered with a giant fox woman dealing with her own demons. Kitzi is spirited and an expert in fieldcraft and close combat, but finds herself unfamiliar with the technology of her people's tiny partners as well as she battles her inner demons in addition to the giant denizens of her world.

When a spaceborne threat reaches their world, will Colin and Kitzi be able to overcome their friction, differences and pasts to work together as a unit?
