When The LightHouses Answer

When the Lighthouses Answer

The Carter Point Archive — Book One

A missing father. A forbidden connection. A watch that never ended.

Nathaniel Carter arrives at his grandfather’s isolated lighthouse expecting nothing more than an inventory and an inheritance. Instead, he discovers a wall of broken routes, a traveling library box, and a warning written by the man who raised him:

DO NOT CONNECT THE LIGHTS.

With cartographer Mara Voss, Nathaniel follows a trail through America’s lighthouse history—documented tragedies, disputed hauntings, unexplained signals, and records that refuse to remain in their own time. Some celebrated ghost stories collapse under scrutiny. Others contain fragments of a message no living person should have been able to send.

As reports from distant lighthouses begin crossing locations—and decades—the investigation becomes inseparable from the disappearance Nathaniel has spent his life trying to forget. His father may have discovered the network years earlier. His grandfather may have sacrificed everything to prevent its completion.

Now the pattern is forming again.

To learn what happened to his family, Nathaniel must finish the connection his grandfather refused to make. But the voices inside the network are not calling for rescue. They are trying to warn him.

Because the lighthouses are not simply communicating with one another.

Something is looking through them.
