Ridge & Friends Talk in Full Sentences Flash Cards: 48 Printable Picture Cards for Ages 2 to 5

Help your little one go from one word to a whole sentence. "Red." becomes "It is red." "Leaf." becomes "I see three red leaves."

These printable picture cards make that practice feel like a game. Each card has a simple, bright picture, a question to ask, and a model full-sentence answer to say together. Hold up a card, ask the question, say the sentence, then pause and let your child try. It is easy language play for toddlers and preschoolers, ages 2 to 5.

The friends from Ridge & Friends are on the cards, too: Ridge the bear cub, Breezy the bunny, Sparkle the fawn, Scarlett and her puppy Lolly. They say the same kinds of lines on the show.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Download the PDF.

2. Print at 100% (actual size) on white cardstock at home or at a print shop.

3. Cut on the dashed lines. Laminate or use plastic sleeves if you want them to last.

These cards are for everyday practice and language play. They are not a test and do not replace advice from your child's doctor or teacher.

Watch Ridge, Breezy, Sparkle, Scarlett and Lolly practice these sentences in free episodes on YouTube: @RidgeAndFriendsKids (youtube.com/@RidgeAndFriendsKids).
