Welcome to The Wonky Menagerie — a wonderfully eccentric gathering of 36 unforgettable characters, each with their own peculiar personality, questionable habits and irresistible charm.

Meet Arthur the Ancient Tortoise, who has absolutely no intention of hurrying; Baa-bara and her magnificent bouffant; Cecil the Suspiciously Charming Crocodile, who assures us he can be trusted; and Gus the Grumbling Toad, who frankly has had quite enough of everybody. And they’re only the beginning.

From gangly giraffes and bewildered platypuses to pompous pelicans, eccentric emus, conceited cats and one remarkably stretched sausage dog, every member of the Menagerie has been given a name, a personality and a little story of their own.

Created in a beautifully detailed ink-and-watercolour style, the collection combines delicate illustration and splashes of colour with gentle, sometimes delightfully silly humour. Each card pairs its character with a greeting chosen especially to suit their personality, making the words every bit as much fun as the artwork.
