The Reunion

The Reunion is a horror-comedy survival novel that begins as a nostalgic getaway among friends and descends into a brutal fight for survival. A group of old friends—Ethan, Jake, Dave, Nick, Tina, Emily, Mia, Sara, and more—gather at a remote mountain cabin for what’s meant to be a booze-filled, fun-packed reunion weekend. Armed with Tallboys, drones, and a killer playlist, the group plans for laughter, mischief, and late-night karaoke.

But when eerie warnings from a grizzled local named Rusty are ignored, and the nearby town is found abandoned, things spiral quickly into chaos. Something ancient and terrifying has emerged from the woods—an infection that warps people into intelligent, fast-moving predators. As communications fail and the infected close in, the reunion turns into a siege.

The group, increasingly divided, uses every ounce of their creativity (and weed-fueled paranoia) to booby-trap the cabin Home Alone-style, launching drones with fireworks, setting paint can death traps, and even crafting makeshift flamethrowers. One by one, they are picked off—some heroically, some absurdly—until only a few remain.
