Inspired by Juan Tamariz's Magic Pyramid, I've taken this powerful idea and rebuilt it specifically for the bizarre magician around five simple questions:

WHO ARE YOU?

Why does it make sense that you possess this strange object or know this story?

WHAT HAPPENS?

Strip away everything else. What is the actual impossible event?

WHY CAN'T THEY EXPLAIN IT?

Is your method truly invisible? Or does your audience feel something sneaky is going on?

WHY SHOULD THEY CARE?

If this impossible thing really happened ... what would it mean?

And finally: HOW SHOULD YOU SHOW IT?

Only now do we bring back the story, the photograph, the candlelight, the strange little box and all that wonderful darkness.

In this mini audio lecture we'll take one fictional routine and rebuild it from the ground up, showing how a simple trick can become a coherent mystery in which the performer, method, effect, emotion and presentation are all pulling in the same direction.

This is a way to make the bizarre magic you already perform better.

And you'll leave with five questions you can use to examine virtually every routine you create.
