The Book Breakdown

Traditional schools sometimes have a habit of dampening the joy of great

books by focusing heavily on memorized vocabulary lists and multiple-choice

questions. We want to try something different: teaching children how to break

down a story by stepping inside of it. A book breakdown can feel like solving

a mystery or directing a movie, rather than taking a test. Let's learn how to
