Imagine waking up every day and only knowing one way to live.

For me, that way was standing on the corner, watching people rush to the same traps,

chasing the same fast money, living the same cycle over and over again. That was my reality.

But even while I was stuck in that life, something inside me felt different.

I felt like I was meant for more… I just didn’t know how to get there.

A lot of young Black men grow up in environments where survival is the main focus. When you wake up and go to sleep doing the same thing every day, it starts to feel like that’s your only option.

You don’t see another way… so you stop looking for one.

But think about it—what if you were exposed to something different?

What if you saw more than just surviving?

What if you saw real opportunities, real ownership, real freedom?

Things could change.

The truth is, the streets and the system were never built for us to win.

They were designed in a way where many of us lose—either by going to jail or losing our lives. And while we’re stuck in that cycle, someone else is always profiting from it.

Growing up, nobody really taught me what a real hustle was.

I learned how to survive.

But I wasn’t taught how to build something for myself.
