Life And Godliness
Life and Godliness
God has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:3).
The Christian life is not about earning salvation or becoming righteous through our own efforts. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and through sanctification, God continues transforming us into His image.
His Word provides truth. His Spirit brings conviction and transformation. His promises give us hope. Even through suffering and difficulty, God is working to produce endurance, obedience, and Christlikeness.
Sanctification affects every area of life—our thoughts, attitudes, relationships, marriages, families, work, church, and conduct in society.
We are not saved by good works. We are saved for good works.
The goal is not to become a better version of ourselves. It is to become more like Jesus Christ.
Life and Godliness is a reminder that God has provided everything necessary to live for His glory.
