In his dream, David felt that he was gently placed inside a shining metallic aircraft.  In front of him were rows of flashing control panels and a huge transparent viewing window, through which he could see the bright stars outside.  The interior of the aircraft was full of futuristic technology, with various devices and instruments he had never seen before.  He curiously touched every button and felt every detail.
