I’m a well-versed Martial Artist with over 25 years of experience training and 9 years of coaching. I was fortunate enough to train under the legendary Guru Bob Breen at his London academy for over 10 years (and still continue to do so when I can), gaining my blackbelt under him in 2011.
In 2014 I spent a year living and training Western boxing at Legacy Gym Boracay in the Philippines and have returned back regularly to continue to train.
I run my own club 'Catch & Counter' in Folkestone UK, teaching Boxing, Dutch Style Kickboxing and Muay Thai.
I am continuing my personal martial arts journey by training Silat (Cimande, Sera and Panglipur) under the amazing Kang Mike from West Kent Silat.
My passion has always been in the coaching and developing of students, seeing the progressions made over time.
This course addresses the issue that I have seen so many times:
'Most people are shown how to throw combinations on the pads. Very few are shown how to hold them properly'
I have made this course to focus on the foundation, the positioning, structure and responsibility of the pad holder
I hope that you enjoy this and it helps make your padwork less chaotic and more effective and enjoyable.
